Our favourite destinations for family holidays in 2022/23

While 2021 may already be drawing to a close, the potential for travel in 2022 and 2023 is something to look forward to, especially in these colder months! As travel opens up and holidaying returns to its former glory, many of us are considering booking that big family holiday next year now that things are finally looking up for travel.

After two years of uncertainty, we at SPL Villas wanted to make booking a villa holiday with us as carefree as possible. After all, the run up to a trip away shouldn't leave you anything but excited.

In the unlikely event of a lockdown, a change in vaccination status, either where you are or where you're going, we have safe booking policies in place to still provide you with options. Our free cancellation policy will allow you to either postpone your holiday to the following year, receive a voucher that can be spent against another villa of your choice or a full refund.

When to book?

While our villas make fantastic destinations all year round, our pools and nearby beaches really do come into their own once the warmer months roll around. With most Mediterranean destinations warm enough for t-shirts shortly after April (if not sooner), the May break is an excellent opportunity to travel with your family to one of our villas if you want to catch some late spring sun. 

Travelling in the summer holidays brings its own rewards, consistent high temperatures, great food and the assurance that seasonal attractions will be in full swing. If heat is something of a concern, our villas come with air conditioning, ideal for beating that midday sun and enjoying a reviving siesta.
