Overview
Nestled in a pine tree forest overlooking Göcek bay, Villa Mert is a hidden treasure. Surrounded by nature it's a modernised take on the fairy tale forest hut. With its 3 bedrooms it's perfect for a small family or a group of friends wanting to explore the bay.
The location is incredibly unique offering a breath taking view of Turkey's natural landscape. Göcek bay has become one of the most interesting boating spots in Turkey. Göcek was a Lycian town, squeezed between Gulf Telmossos (Fethiye) and Caunos. There are several remains in Taşyaka (Tomb Bay), Tersane Island, Cleopatra's Bay (Manastır), Sarsala Bay, Kapı Creek and Wall Bay (Manastır). Göcek is under National Preservation Programme.
The traditional design mixed with more modern furnishings turns this villa into a glorious home away from home. Which is ideal for relaxing and taking a break and slowing down for a week. However, if you'd prefer to dive back into some excitement during your stay the nearest town centre is just 3km away where you will find many interesting bars and restaurants sure to take your fancy.
For the slower days free from exploring, enjoy a dip in Mert's private pool and lounge on the sunbeds with a good book. This villa gives the freedom to achieve whichever sort of activities you'd like to experience during your stay here in Göcek.
