Kellie’s love for travel was ignited at a young age, largely due to the numerous family villa holidays she enjoyed. However, it was during her time living and working in Greece that her desire to explore and her passion for travel was truly cemented. Kellie believes in collecting memories, not things, and family holidays are her favourite way to do this.
Kellie’s travels have seen her enjoy adventures across Europe, the USA and beyond. Not only has Kellie travelled extensively, but she has been able to do so as a single mum, with friends and as a family, almost always with varying ages, needs and wants to be considered.
Today, Kellie combines her passion for exploring with her expertise in villa holidays. She guides families in curating the perfect villa getaway, ensuring each journey is enriching, full of discovery, and of course, relaxation and cocktails.
Quick fire Questions:
Hotel or Villa? Villa, I love the freedom that villa holidays offer, especially not having to deal with the frantic morning rush to secure the perfect spot by the pool. I also enjoy the flexibility you get with a villa, I’ve often found it tricky to meet everybody’s needs with hotels, whereas a villa allows us the to curate our own itinerary.
Pool or Beach? Beach, although I love a refreshing dip in the pool the sound of the ocean always wins me over.
Favourite family villa holiday destination: This is a tricky one, Greece, in particular Rhodes will always hold a special place in my heart, however, I also love the Balearic Islands and Croatia.
Top packing tip? Oh, I’ve got a good one! It always drove me insane that my summer hat would end up all kinds of odd shapes by the time I reached my destination. However, if you place your hat in your case first, upside down, ensure the trim is lying flat, then pad out the middle with your clothes to hold its shape, it will be just perfect on arrival. You’re welcome!
