Cala San Vicente is blessed with a gorgeous trio of sandy beaches with turquoise waters right on its doorstep providing a great villa holiday destination for couples. Pretty Cala Barques is the largest and probably the most popular sitting at the northern edge of the village, with secluded Santa Clara just around the corner. Both are rocky in places, great for swimming and snorkelling. Or you can try the super sandy stretch of Cala Molins beach just around the headland. There’s plenty to see and do in and around Cala San Vicente, a great destination for your next family villa holiday. There are several small restaurants, bars and cafés leading down to the twin bays of Cala San Vicente. Evenings here are quiet and much more laid back but if you are looking for a lively night out just head to nearby Pollensa town or Puerto Pollensa. The old Roman town of Pollensa is just a 10 minute drive away. It is a delightful place to wander around, with a maze of little streets crammed with boutiques and gift shops, as well as interesting cafes, bars and restaurants. Wander around the village itself and you will see quaint houses and cobbled streets, a taste perhaps of times gone by. Home to some significant and historically important man-made dwellings, some of these ancient necropolises date back to the Bronze Age. There is also an interesting set of ancient man-made caves which date back to the Bronze Age, which you can visit. The nearby Roman old town of Pollensa has several places of interest, perhaps visit the Calvari chapel, with 365 steps up through cypress trees, with stunning views on offer once you have made it to the top. The coastline around Cala San Vincente is full of drama with sandy coves and interesting rock pools to explore. If you like walking, or biking there are plenty of well-established trails through spectacular scenery. If you don’t want to lounge around on the beach or by your own private villa pool every day there is plenty to keep you busy, you could try horse riding, jet-skiing, sailing or diving. Golf is also popular here with some excellent courses at Alcanada and Pollensa, both offering wonderful views of the Tramuntana Mountains.
