We opened for business in 2017, originally named as Villas We Trust, and began by promoting villas in the Canary Islands. Our owners Sandra and Peter Linnell have been taking villa holidays with their family for over 25 years and it was this which led to the launch of the company. Planning and understanding the holiday needs of families and friends gave Sandra and Peter the perfect insight as to what creates the ideal villa holiday.
Using their local knowledge, they carefully selected wonderful villas in the most idyllic villa holiday locations, sharing their expertise to ensure our customers found the ideal villa for their holiday needs. Since 2020, we have expanded our portfolio of villas and destinations and at the same time, we relaunched the company with a new name and website. This was the birth of SPL Villas!
Ensuring that we maintain the same family ethos, independence and understanding of the needs of our customers - we now have a wider range of villas across the Mediterranean. All of our team have worked within the villa sector of the travel industry and we have a cumulative of 50 years+ experience.
Between us, we have visited all the holiday destinations that we feature on our website and there is nothing that we don’t know about them. We love sharing all the secrets our locations hold, ensuring you choose the perfect villa holiday home that is right for you.

We offer a truly personal customer service, with our reservations team on hand to assist you in choosing a villa and a destination that is right for you. With over 40 years of providing villa holidays between them, their expertise is second to none. They will look after you in the same manner that Peter and Sandra have been looking after their friends and families, finding you a villa situated in only the most beautiful European holiday destinations.
Your villa holiday is very important to all of us. We want to do everything possible to ensure you make the right choice and understand that your time away with us is priceless. We take our time when sourcing all our villas, ensuring that they offer a wide variety of features, local amenities, and beautiful locations. We have taken the hassle out of booking your villa holiday, so that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your villa holiday.
Our Guarantee To You
We believe in providing you with the same values that we would want for our own families and friends, so please be assured that we will look after you, no matter what the World throws at us. We are fully protected by an independent guarantor service, which protects your money from the moment that you book with us. In the unlikely event that we, or any of our overseas partners, become insolvent, our third party independent guarantor will refund all of your monies paid.
Booking your holiday with peace of mind
Private villa holidays are the best way to enjoy your own space, which is particularly prevalent considering the issues surrounding COVID-19. We take your safety very seriously and so we have made necessary changes to our cleaning schedules to help protect you. All of our villas will be cleaned in line with local regulations prior to your arrival.
Our cleaners have a checklist of everything required for the villa, including special cleaning of all surfaces, light switches, door handles, TV and air conditioning controls. They use specified disinfectants throughout the villa, to include and not limited to all soft furnishings, curtains, sofas, cushions, bedcovers. Each cleaner is required to wear a new set of P.P.E. for each property they visit.
If you have a clean specified for during your stay, our local team will contact you to arrange a convenient time for them to come into the villa. During this time, they will require you to vacate the villa, so there is no contact.
We are aware of the tricky times that everyone is facing now, so we are offering hassle free refunds on over 95% of our villas, if you cannot travel due to a change in restrictions locally or overseas due to COVID-19. If this happens, we will either provide you with a move to the same villa next year, a credit voucher or a full refund, where applicable.
If after you have booked your holiday, you are unable to travel due to your personal destination, or the destination that you are travelling to, being in lockdown (on the red list of the government traffic light system), or a change in vaccination entry requirement (which cannot be complied with ahead of your holiday), 7 days prior to your holiday commencing, we will contact you via the lead email address on your booking to discuss the options that you have. We will be able to offer you the opportunity to defer your booking to an alternative date, for the same duration, in the same villa for the following year, we can offer you a voucher to the same value as your booking, to be redeemed against another villa from the suppliers that you purchased your original villa with* or we will provide you with a full refund***.
After you have booked your villa holiday, should the FCO change their advice and advise against all but essential travel to your villa holiday destination, then we will contact you up to 30 days prior to your holiday commencing and offer you the opportunity to defer your booking to an alternative date, for the same duration, in the same villa for the following year. We can offer you a voucher to the same value as your booking, to be redeemed against another villa from the suppliers that you purchased your original villa with*
**Availability permitting, if the new villa has a higher cost, then you would have to pay the remaining difference.
